Situated in the intersection of the valley of Souss and mountains of the Height-atlas, the " girl Marrakesh " gives an excellent outline of the Moroccan South. First capital of Saadiens in the XVIth century, refuge of the rebel princes, desired by the tribes of the South, Taroudannt holds an important place in the history of Morocco.
Nowadays, personalities come to look for the rest in the shade of its magnificent ramparts ochre. Also considered as its crafts and its Berber jewels, it attracts numerous tourists who come from Agadir (destination very well served) by buses.
