Tafraoute

(198 km in the southeast of Agadir by Tiznit)
The best is to include Tiznit in the route of this excursion. We cross then a pleasant agricultural landscape before arriving at Tafraoute, capital of Ammeln. Famous for its business acumen, this tribe speaks about the dialect chleuh and lives mainly on the culture of the barley and on the almond tree.

If the small village of Tafraoute presents only not enough interest, but its decoration is one of the most surprising of Morocco: everywhere we can admire the blazing reflections of the mountains of pink granite of the Anti-Atlas. In February, almond trees in flowers still add to the beauty of the site. Tafraoute is also a very good point of departure for an excursion in mountains and the surrounding Berber villages.
