The region of Aoulouz, territory of the tribe of Ouzguita, is characterized by an environment grouped around an attic collective fortress. It is the only region of Morocco where these attics are still functional, because in the summer, the population of the village rises in azibs (refuges of Berber), at feet of Siroua, towards pastures and cultures summer. Only stay in the village one or two guards to watch Agadir which counts so small rooms as of families and where each one of them piles up its most precious possessions: wools, cereal, carpets. These Agadir are often placed under the protection of a saint whose zaouia of origin is the one of Tamgrout or Timguilcht. |
